ICRC has confirmed that they released
Edited on Fri May-07-04 08:12 PM by nadinbrzezinski
some of the secret report, just ran on ABC News

Now let me put my Red Cross hat on... I used to wear it

Instruction was under no circumstances will things witnessed inside a facility will be discused with the media. Well that pattern changed with Rwanda when the ICRC rep released the info that ambulances were being shot at.

Second place where this was broken, due to the lack of response, was in Serbia.

Now the ICRC has released material after they hinted at this. I fear that what we have been allowed to see is the kind of material that is quite boy scoutish... it is going to get far worst than what even Lindsey Graham has said it will become...

My recomendation, don't ask what have we done.

Bear witness as hard as this will be on all of us.

DO all you can to show your outrage... and remnember we do have Nazis among us who aprove of this.

This is the fight for our nation and our future.

You're hoping for another attack on American soil?

11. Guess what - NO!
But it sure as hell seems like Bush is covering his ass with the reasoning.

No terrorist attack on our soil between now and 11/2 - "Wow, look at the great job I'm doing!" - Mind you, foreign terrorists didn't hit any US soil targets between 3/1993 and 9/2001. The biggest they did at that point was the USS Cole in a port in Yemen. Bush calls off the watchdogs that keep sniffing around suspected terrorists in early 2001 to investigate somebody photocopying their asses on government copy machines.

Terrorist attack on US soil in October 2004 - "Those evil people are trying to influence the election. The liberals are with the terrorists! The terrorists want Kerry to win!". Mind you, it's likely to be a port, especially when you consider that the "soft liberals" have also been trying to strengthen security at the ports. "Can't spend that kind of money, we're broke! We barely have enough to divert from finding Osama to give to Halliburton in Iraq!"

Actually, I am in one of the miniscule "blue" Ohio areas on the map.

The red areas have a tendency to be a low ratio of people/square mile. The blue areas tend to gather around metro areas. Either way, loss of life. But hitting a red area might cost less human lives. Or, as any lurking freeper might put it, "collateral damage". Or even a "college prank".

So, when did you stop beating your spouse?

3. Not only that, but I remember seeing a post here from someone
who'd seen Seymour Hersh on CSPAN. Apparently, a woman called in, the first caller to that particular show, and said she worked for a computer company that had just received computers from Iraq whose hard drives were supposed to be "cleaned" - but WEREN'T. She said she saw what was in them and was horrified. She called to ask Hersh whom she should call about this. He gave her his cell phone number and then he and Brian Lamb asked her to hold on so they could talk to her off the air.

Hersh, too, said there was more, and that it was worse.

In the January CNN story that broke the investigation, they said they "seized computer hard drives." Very interesting....... If there were any journalists left in this country that don't get story approval from Scott McClellan, there would be more on this story.

8. OT question
I have noticed your post and your throughness. I have a question. In the pictures from the torture. When the couple is together with thumbs up and in one where he has his arms folded, they have plastic surgeons gloves on, right?

Which says to me this abuse was internal too, probably?
