1. Who's he going to vote for, Nader?
They say that, but they are Republicans, ergo, they lie.

11. negativity, regardless of source...
doesn't tend to make a person vote FOR the opposition...
it just tends to make a person stay home instead of voting.

in this case, that would suit me fine.

No, it's not good enough. Bush get choked up, did he? Like Bill biting his lip. He waited too long and proved that either he didn't have a moral compass, or was ready to ignore it if everyone else would. This is not going away - Twig is.

It pains me to see him apologize. Like it will really make a difference to those who haate him/US. War is not pretty but I am sorry about those photos getting out.

Just great....Sorry for humiliating terrorists and their families. Bush just screwed himself with his base, and cost himself the election. Get used to "President Kerry." DISGUSTING!

10. number 6 has a pretty good analysis
hit it right on the head - either * has no moral compass or he was going to ignore it and hope it went away. Actually both are true - but that is the inclusive "or" as used in math.

12. "terrorists and their families"
These people are totally clueless (although I suppose that goes without saying, how could anyone still support Bush if they had a clue about the outside world?) What terrorists? people arrested for no reason and without charge in Iraq are "terrorists" ? Come to think of it some of them might become terrorists AFTER being humiliated by a foreign occupying force.

4. Can't wait to hear In-Sannity's take on this...
Yesterday, Sean (In-Sannity) Hannity was bitching at Bush's granting interviews on the Arab networks. The apology will really cheese him off!

9. A lot are just pissed about the torture. period.
A lot are pissed that the torture was made public. They are pissed at the image of the military being tarnished.
This is splitting fractures everywhere.

It's the ineptitude that is catching up to him.

13. I knew they would be pissed. I heard some local callers today saying
no apology, no rummy quiting, the news channels need to stop showing it over and over again. They were all pissy about it and it was before * apologized.
