1. And we just gave a new marriage tax credit
And they are discussing on the Senate floor to give corporations who do business offshore another credit.

Always more spending and never talking about how we are going to pay for this.

5. Exactly!
Let's have a "war tax" on the top 1% and any company doing business with the Pentagon or CIA.

3. They really want $50 Billion, not $25 Billion.
Just ask for the $50 Billion and be done with it already! Political Wimps.

Senators McCain and Hagel will have a field day with this request... they've each been urging the "president" to ask for the entire amount that he needs.

4. Since the billions already blown. . .
have been such a sound investment in winning world support and the hearts and minds. . .?

The residuals we will receive from this prudent investment will continue on for decades if not centuries. For sure.

7. The Iraq progress report on the US government site
Says we have spent almost all the money allotted for Oil Infrastructure but have spent less than 25% of the money for Iraqi security forces.

Iraqis do not get to see the benefit from the oil sales, but they sure do see the detriment of not having security on their streets.

6. Shrub is doing this for a campaign issue

If you vote against it, or object to it, then the attack machine will say you are against providing Kevlar to our troops who desperately need it. If you vote for it, but are vocal against the war, then you are a "waffler" or you "flip flop".
