How would the Kerry White House deal with the Fox News Channel?
Could they do a total blackout of Fox News? No more cushy Brit Hume interviews, FOX camera's banned from the White House completely?

no TV network has been as cosy with an administration as FOX and Bush, if and when it all comes to an end under Kerry, what will happen to that vile network?

3. I would suggest a full boycott
No Administration official talks to Fox. Congressional Democrats will be urged to do the same. White House press passes from Fox reporters revoked. There is no constitutional right to a press pass. As a condition for getting these privileges back, Fox must run a series of puff-piece stories on President Kerry.

20. I agree.
Its not like they are an actually media company, just the propaganda arm of the extreme right. As such they should be marginalized and completely ignored.

5. How about MOAB?

Just give FOX a 15 minute warning to clear the studios, and BLAMMO.

6. They probably honor the 1st amendment and free speech
I see some Stalinists here who despise free speech and the 1st amendment in particular but I trust Kerry to be a paragon of freedom.

11. The 24 show on FOX
Has anyone noticed this recent manipulation on the FOX network show 24?

A candidate running for President blackmails the sitting President for his own political gain while a terrorist is at large. When the woman gives the candidate running for President the secret information the shot zooms in on his interest and cuts off the poster for this candidate which is a blue poster with the letters cut off saying JOHN KE and you can slightly see the next letter which should be an "N" but is slightly cut off which looks like an "R".

A message that a candidate for president might use unethical tactics just to win the presidencny while a major terrorist threat looms?

I just don't trust FOX>

13. Well...
The current president on 24 is a Democrat so his opponent should be a Repub (unless it's the primaries but I don't think it is). They introduced the "John Keeler" character in the first episode which aired in the fall so I don't think anything was intentional. Also, John Keeler was written as a slimeball who tried to blackmail the President before their debate.

I don't blame you for not trusting FOX though my impression has always been that the 24 producers are left leaning. I think Ron Howard and Brian Grazer are involved.

12. Limit interviews to low level staff
Put the higher level people on the other stations. As soon as Fox gets hungry enough, they'll deal.

14. FOX leading with Hannity would spend the whole 4 years...
trying to prove that Kerry bought the election. Or, they would spend every night talking about Impeachable acts.

15. They could do warm fuzzy stories
on the Bushes and their life after the White House. Seriously, though, I doubt * will ever do an interview after losing. Too humiliating for him. I'll never forget Poppy's first interview after he lost. He was the most bitter man I've ever seen, blaming everyone.

16. Helen Thomas

The Kerry White House will end the snubbing of Helen Thomas.

While that may not seem like it has anything to do with Faux News, I personally think it says everything that needs to be said.
