Xtian Coalitiion's Ralph Reed: "I only watch Fox news"
Now we know what the problem is! And this guy is proud to admit it...even more amazing.

Ex-Christian Coalition leader Reed says he watches only Fox News
By SCOTT SONNER
ASSOCIATED PRESS

RENO, Nev. (AP) - Stumping for President Bush, the former head of the Christian Coalition told Nevada Republicans he can't remember the last time he watched a television newscast on CBS, NBC or ABC.

Now a regional chairman for the Bush-Cheney campaign, Ralph Reed said he depends on the Internet, conservative talk show hosts and the Fox News network to get his information about the world.

And he urged Nevadans to do the same.

"Twenty-five years ago, most people got their news from ABC, CBS or NBC," Reed said in a speech Friday night to the Nevada Republican Party's state convention. "Fortunately, that is no longer the case. The gatekeepers of dominant media have lost their monopoly on information."

Reed told the crowd of about 250 Republicans that he has not watched a newscast of a major network in years.

"I get in the car in the morning and listen to Rush Limbaugh. On the way home, I listen to Sean Hannity. At night I watch Fox News," he said.

3. Good! He will lose focus.
His job is to listen - and be aware of - competing viewpoints. Otherwise, he cannot develop effective strategies. I hope all BushBots follow their Glorious Leader, and lose all touch with those except the hard core (like Fox, Hannity), so they hear only an echo. We might have a chance yet.

10. exactly
If he only listens to right wing propaganda he'll have a distorted view of the world and therefore won't be able to react to situations effectively.

4. WTF?
"I get in the car in the morning and listen to Rush Limbaugh."

WTF? Limbaugh doesn't play until noon EST.

I wonder what kind of pedophilic acts keeps him up so late at night.

7. don't laugh, BEWARE! he is sending a message to the masses!
he is telling his followers to stop watching anything other than fox news.

do not laugh at this. take it very seriously. a lot of people are going to be exposed to completely unbalanced propaganda in the coming month up to the election, and well beyond.

9. Ralph probably doesn't read either, like bush, Rice et al...but he should
read the PIPA Knowledge Networks Poll, which he can find here:

http://www.pipa.org/OnlineReports/Iraq/Media_10_02_03_Report.pdf

This is the study about misperceptions, the media and the Iraq War which Al Franken cites frequently. It says the more a person watches Fox the dumber they get. (aee page 12 of the report)

:dunce:

12. The newsstand in Grand Central has fourTV sets ALL playing FOX NEWS
The TV sets have signs under them that say FOX NEWS. Maybe FOX gave them the TV's? Or owns the newsstand? FOUR blaring images of Bill O'Lielly.
