Paraphrasing Colin Powell: "As long as we have the numbers, no draft"
He just said this on Larry King Live. It went something like: "As long as our volunteer system can generate the numbers of troups that our commanders say they need, there is no need to change it."

1. Since Condi Rice told the Dems the other day that Iraq is the FIRST
PILLAR of change in the middle east, it's safe to assume that more troops will be needed for the War President for the additional *pillars*.

Of course, I'm sure Powell is telling the truth... now. I'm sure of it.

4. We already have a draft
Actually we have two.

One is an economic draft. The overwhelming majority of people join for economic reasons, not patriotism. Face it, practically no one from wealthy families is in the military.

The second is the Stop Loss policy invoked by the military.

5. I watched a few minutes
of Powell and had to change the channel, the spin, lies and total disregard for human life are making me sick.
