and I like your site. I still think Rall was wrong. Why denigrate a dead man? As I, and many, many others have said, Tillman did what he thought was right and paid the ultimate price for it. Rall should not have resorted to name calling. If you wish to discuss this further, you are going to have to PM me as I have said my piece several times and have no intention of changing my opinion. Something heroic in Afghanistan? Afghanistan was all about daisy cutters and pipelines, whether Tillman was a hero to participate is plenty debatable, regardless of his pro-prospects. The sad fact that so many are DUMB ENOUGH to think Afghanistan was a GOOD WAR, despite the historical precedents clearly stated before 9-11-01 and the money trail and participants claimed as responsible for the attack that was enabled by some sort of stand down really gets muddy quick. Attacking Ted Rall is backing GW. And so many around here do that in many ways when it comes to the big crimes...

They really DO live in a world of perfect dichotomy...as in...oh, I don't know...yes, you're right: "you're either with us or against us.".

The best part is that they're always absolutely right. Being blind to multidimensionality does wonders for the old self-esteem and self-confidence.

Labeling as a Bush supporter anyone who disagrees with Rall's steaming pile of crap is a tactic of divert-and-distract borrowed straight from the other guys' playbook. It's also a stunningly transparent tactic that has the bonus of no logical foundation.

... If I "disliked" everyone who ever held an opinion I disagreed with, I'd have no friends.

I think that cartoon was a little over the line. But guess what, there are a boatload of people out there who think 90% of my beliefs are over the line.
