Starting my "Stay Home America Memorial Day Protest"

What better way to honor our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan than to stop driving on Memorial Day to protest these outrageous gasoline prices that are fueling real terror against the American public. Just check out the profits of the Chevrons, BPs, Citogos and you will see why we really invaded Iraq. What better message to send to the Bush regime than one that says we will do everything we can to keep our children from dying to increase the oil profits of our greedy corporations and the totalitarian allies of the US who keep their wealth on the backs of their people.

1. a nice thought but a 3 day weekend is a heavy travel period

especially the beginning of "moving season" (up to Labor Day).

we usually hibernate on 3-day holidays (memorial, july 4th, labor day, etc.) anyway. hate to get caught up in the crowds.
