Looks like Gore's station is going to happen
I know they were having last minute problems, but I just saw this.

NEW ORLEANS (Reuters) - Former U.S. vice president Al Gore (news - web sites) plans to announce on Tuesday that he has acquired cable television channel NewsWorld International from Vivendi Universal (NYSE:V - news) to launch a new liberal network, a source familiar with the matter said.

1. As I understand it
the station won't be "demonstrably liberal". Instead it will be geared toward a young, hop (as if I actually know what that means) demographic
