Alright I'm tired of the SUV attack on Kerry
Tonight I heard Hannity call Kerry "stupid" with "no platform to run on" and to back it up he spends like 5 minutes talking about how Kerry "lies" about how one minute he wants to protect the environment and the next minute his family drives an SUV.

What does he expect Kerry to do? go back in time like however many years ago his family bought it and make them give it back?

Case in point okay my father (who isn't what I would call a liberal) drives a Chevy Avalanche.

I drive a Chevy Prism.

So because my father drives what he drives I should feel guilty. I must now renounce the fact that I care about the environment because I refuse to tie myself to my father's truck and let him drive it? So now if I ever want to run for anything on a platform that is pro-environment some scumbag like Hannity is going to bring a family's member choice against me?

It's called freewill Hannity you jag-off, there's no law that says you must keep your family from buying what they want to buy. Hey I tried to advise my father not to buy that damn truck, but he wanted it. That's as far as I will go. You see ME buying a truck like that THEN you call me a hypocrite, but untill then I think it's wrong to cast a negative shadow on someone because of choices their family makes.

Oh and on a side note, if anyone ever buys one of those new Hybrid Ford Escapes this summer let me know how it is. I have my eye on one of those.

3. Thank you
That's what I'm friggin talkin about.

Truth is I like SUV's their size and ability comes in handy in areas that are snowy and hilly, but like you I refuse to feed them.

Which is why I'm overjoyed of the idea of a hybrid SUV. The thought of having an SUV with 4-wheel drive that gets better gas mileage than my little prism...

2. Hannity is nothing but a right-wing, neo-con, talking head...
...He is going the way of all the neo-cons, which is the way of the dinosaurs. Kerry is our man, our leader, our winner. Kerry will beat George Bush this November. Bush and all of his pigeons are imploding from the shear weight of their own lies and corruption. What is happening to Bush will be as spectacular as the razing of the WTC Towers figuratively speaking. It will also mean that there will be a big mess to clean up after Bush is defeated. Democrats are up to the task, neo-cons will return to being the fossils they have always been. Hannity's pumpkin head will explode from his own inflated ego and self-induced importance. It's time for change. No more Bush!

5. That's exactly what I was thinking
Yea all they have is the "no platform" "his family owns suvs" and "Heinz outsources"

First off does Heinz outsource their core competencies? THAT'S when outsourcing is truly wrong.

But in the same jab they claim that the Dems are desperate......now THAT is funny I see lots of Dems riled up and in gear to kick Bush out this November but I don't see Kerry having to resort to spending billions in ads which LIE about Bush.

Heh if anything if and when kerry does resort to attack ads he tells the truth which hurts Bush that much more.

6. It's lame
Hannity is an idiot, obviously. But this is a lame argument. I have an SUV, and I AM a liberal. I *do* care very much about the environment. I also prefer not to be stuck at home all winter, living on the side of a mountain and all, so a 4X4 is pretty necessary for my family. We also have a small car (Escort) that gets great gas mileage that we drive quite a bit. But you can own an SUV, care about the environment and be a Democrat. They're not mutually exclusive.

12. Same here
I have an SUV used only for freeway driving because a few years back I was almost killed in a hit and run accident on the freeway. I have a very efficent little Chevy Corsica that I use for all other driving because I care about the environment.

7. Hannity is an evil, moronic liar.
What did Kerry say or do to indicate other people should not drive an SUV?

But its okay for Bush to spend a half a million flying air force one to to a fucking nascar event.

11. Hahahahahahaha!
Hey, guess what?

They are attacking John Kerry, they are practicing the politics of personal destruction, the very thing that they accuse liberals of doing!!
They aren't playing offense because they can't play offense!
Don't you get it? We are winning!

That means they are far more desperate and dangerous then ever.
But it also means that John Kerry's ad blitz is going to be just that, all it needs is foot soldiers to hold the territory for the next six months.

There will be very little that Bushco can do to save themsleves after the next month is over.
Except for Osama, and other extra consititutional interference of course.

All we have to do is stay positive, and start talking our game.
No more defense is needed, Bush is his own worst enemy, all we have to do is talk about it openly in public every opportunity we get.

13. Has somebody added up Chimpy's effect on the environment?
What's the total damage his regime has done to the environment since 2001? Executive policy, legislation pushed through, agencies gutted while nobody was looking. Add in the "environmental regulation" policy that he instituted in Texas.

Total all that up. On the other side: One SUV.
