Bush, Kalamazoo, and "life-sized silhouettes of casualties of the war"
Bush convoy hits road in Mich., Ohio
President focuses campaign on battleground states
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4890737/

"Bush heads a convoy of about eight buses — red, white and mostly blue — trolling a voter-rich triangle along Michigan’s southern flank Monday. The buses are emblazoned with the words “Yes, America Can” — a slogan meant to project optimism to a region demoralized by the disappearance of hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs."

"Bush wants to emphasize efforts to jump-start the economy while he’s on the road, but reminders of the Iraq war and other troubles followed him.

Protesters in Kalamazoo will greet him along Interstate 94 with life-sized silhouettes of casualties of the war. And the Democratic National Committee opens a “Mission Not Accomplished” tour in Michigan Monday which will “highlight what Bush has failed to do on the economy and homeland security,” said DNC spokesman Jano Cabrera."

But hey, on the brighter side, he'll be flippin' some presidential flapjacks at his pancake breakfast in Ohio tomorrow.

1. Compassion = I meet with black people
Who was it who pointed out that at the White House website all the pictures under the "Compassion" theme show Bush with African-Americans?

Fits right in with his idiotic remarks about brown people.

6. 20 years ago when I was a WMU in Kalamazoo, we protested Bush's Daddy
He came to give a campaign speech in 1984, and the School of Social
Work sponsored the protest outside Miller Auditorium, where he was speaking.

Go Kalamazoo protesters!! He's going to be in Sterile Whites, I mean, Sterling Heights, tonight, but I will be busy mowing my lawn.

4. If people buy this compassionate conservatism again My head will explode!
They've had 3 1/2 years to see that compassionate conservatism is a lie and Bush can still use those words to describe his agenda? Give me a f...ing break! How stupid and gullible can one nation be?
