General strike/ day of protest in BC averted - Liberals cave!
The worst aspects of that nasty ol' bill c-37 have been settled and an agreement was reached at five AM. There will be no retroactive pay cut, and there will be a limit on job-loss due to contracting out.

They eliminated the retroactive part, but the 15% pay cut is still in place.

They also backed off a bit on contracted-out jobs, bud didn't eliminate it.

A bad loss for unions.
