There might be internal politics playing into this. McCaulliff is Clinton's man after a fashion. But then again if that is the reason, kind of frusterating for us all, that they can't get their act together.

Keep him in the office...outta sight. He's been "Roved" to the point where he's damaged goods in any one on one...especially with Gillespie...kinda makes you need to take two showers after watching those two go at it. We need a better way and it's on the way.

I noticed this week Dick Durbin was selected as one of the upcoming campaign spokespeople, and I'm seeing people like Richard Holbrooke, Wes Clark, Rahm Manuel and a new breed of faces and voices coming on the scene...it's refreshing comparing to the same old GOOP talking heads.

10. Consider Me Very Partisan, But...

Durbin's the third ranking Democrat in the Senate...and, I'm very proud to say, MY senator. He's very easy going and articulate, specializes in Education and Foreign Affairs and is looked upon here in Illinois as Paul Simon's true heir as a Progressive/Liberal. I'm sure I'm not the only Illinois DU'er who loves our Senator.

Dick occasionally takes the Senate floor to trash this regime and is one of its most effective speakers. He's got the ability to smooth the facts at you...and is hard for the Repugnicans to attack cause the guy is just too "likeable". Above all, he looks good on TV, and knows how to play it very well.
