Paul Riekhoff makes me proud.
And, since 2000, I've had damned little to be proud of as an American.

He's the New York Army National Guard 1st Lt. who gave the Dem radio address yesterday.

His comments on This Week were BLISTERING and dead on.
I cannot wait to get this transcript.

"I worry for the future of Iraq and for my Iraqi friends. I worry for my fellow soldiers still fighting this battle. I worry for their families, and I worry for those families who will not be able to share another summer or another baseball game with the loved ones they've lost. And I pledge that I will do everything I can to make sure they have not died in vain and that the truth is heard."

you may remember him, he is running for office as I recall, the highest office in the land. And just like Kerry the RW shills are already attacking this man who unlike them.... SEERVED in harms way

7. I cried when he spoke. Then I cried when they showed the burial.
This has been a weeping day, I guess. How dare this administration look these young men in the face? How dare they?

9. True heroes and leaders rise
from extraordinary situations. When the going gets tough the tough get going.
Compare this man and the man running for president with the man in office.
The extraordinary occurrence in *'s life was that one day he sobered up and realized his family connections would bring him fame and riches.

11. I really don think * had it in mind to be Prez
Frome what I read, it was Rove who led the way to the top... even before the Texas Governorship; Rove was there grooming him and preparing the connections.
