Anyone listen to Fresh Air on NPR today? About "The Jesus Factor"
Which is a Frontline special which will air on PBS tonight. It was quite interesting. One quote by the female that Terri Gross was interviewing (didn't catch her name), was how Bush* has used the atributes of Jesus to describe the US. She was talking about how a lot of theologians are VERY uncomfortable with that. The man that was being interviewedd (the writer of the Frontline special) said that he was interviewing evangelical ministers here in Atlanta and they were saying how this IS a holy war. How Bush's was is a modern day Crusades to rid the earth of the infidel Muslims. It was quite interesting. Think I will watch the Frontline special tonight.

2. Deeply troubling to me, in Bush's favorite words.

4. The odd thing about that story was that it implied...

... that Bush was a world view not organized around transferring a lot of wealth to his cronies.

It seems plainly obvious to me that that is the organzing principle of his life.

You listen to this show today, and you get the impression that transferring wealth to his cronies is just an unintended consequence of the actions of a man whose organizing principles revolve around spirituality.

If I were some sort of fascist, I'd rather have people think I believe in a certain version of God which just happens to make my friends super rich, rather than I exist to make my friends super rich.

I found the whole show totally absurd.

5. Bingo
It's not about the money. Don't believe it. It's a Christian costume.
