Conservative Party Leader Ian Duncan Smith...
really letting Blair have it today! From what CNN was showing, this could well have turned into a melee! Smith came just short of calling Blair an out-and-out liar!

2. With both barrels of a very Tory birding gun.
He was damn near foaming at the mouth.

And that pointing finger... Pounding on the podium...

I'd say he was pissed. Very pissed.

Interesting to see how this goes down, along with Rummy's looking very pissed at Levin's questioning him in the Senate. Rummy had the look of a nasty little boy who got caught at something.

CNN ain't so bad today-- Blitzer is repeating Hillary's gift of shoe. I just wish they had a clip of Chaplin cooking up the shoe in "The Gold Rush."

:nopity:

4. Don't get too excited
No matter what you think of Blair, I wouldn't cheer Iain Duncan Smith.

For example:

and...

The fact that the WMD story continues to have legs is great news, but the thought of this guy waiting in the wings is kinda disturbing to me.

6. Smith would make an exemplary Repuke...
from what I read in the links you provided EarlG, but what tickled me is the way he lit into Blair. I'm hoping that may wake up some in Blair's party!

5. Iain Duncan Smith is the worst kind of reactionary
He actually supported the war more than Blair.

Plus, he's just about as stupid as Bush.
