Did you guys notice that Bush's Favorability is at 38%?....
And his unfavorable rating is at 43% in the latest CBS poll?

Looks like the attack ads and media attacks are taking their toll on Bush's supposed image as a "likeable guy." To compare with Kerry's numbers, he of course has a large number of voters saying "undecided" or "haven't heard enough," but his unfavorable rating is in the low 30s.

1. I Hope That's Blowback from the Attack Ads
that would be best news of this campaign. Up to now, it seems as if Republicans have been able to launch attacks with absolutely no repercussions.

2. Tomorrow should be a fun day..I wish Kerry would launch
ads tomorrow with the Mission Accomplished anniversary banner and then show reality since Bush insist to remain in fantasy Bushland.

3. What I Call "The Surprise Party Effect"
Concealed knowledge strives to be revealed (or information yearns to be free) is the concept at work through all of this. I call it "The Surprise Party Effect".

Think about the last time you were involved in a surprise party. If you were the person being secretly feted, you probably grew suspicious of the planners at some point, despite the best efforts of the planners to keep things secret. BushCo has been fighting against this effect for 3 years.

We are getting to the point where their secrecy is beginning to raise far more than just conspiratorial concerns. Reasonable people of all political minds are understanding that things are being done in a way that cannot be explained "normally". There is a "surprise party" being planned, but it is a "party" of radical ideological change.
