Pro-Life Republicans
Republicans align themselves with pro-life interests, but their concern is limited to a single issue: regulating abortion. If they were genuinely pro-life, that viewpoint would be reflected in other areas such as opposition to the death penalty or voting against the war. However, every time there's some vote in Congress on the merits of the war, Republicans vote solidly in favor of it.

Republican hawkishness does not square with a commitment to right to life. It's not about right to life; it's about controlling women.

1. I agree; woman and states, government (s), countries,
continents and maybe even eventually the world. I sound flippant, but actually I really do believe they want to control everthing and every situation. They believe they have all the answers. Just like Bush said...He doesn't make mistakes. :puke:

4. Your real agenda is anti-abortion and nothing else.
Think about what pro-life really means. Are you willing to honor all life no matter what?

5. Well, I am pro-life
in the broad, not freeperized, sense of the term. A few of us ARE willing to honor all life no matter what.

3. We all know that pro-life really means anti-abortion
and nothing else. Anti-abortionists aren't interested in a whole lot of life otherwise unless it's theirs.
