Troop Supply Getting Thin
Here it is, the Army's finding it very difficult to keep up troop strength in Iraq. You could see this coming a mile off. * severely underestimated the strength needed to "control" Iraq from the get go
relying heavily on the Reserves, who are suppose to be doing Homeland Security. BTW, who's fighting the War on Terrorism today?

WASHINGTON - The Army could have a tough time finding more combat troops if they are needed in Iraq (news - web sites).

3. My only son/child turns 18 in a month.
I won't send him off to suffer or die for Halliburton.

4. This is why the draft is a real issue
President Clinton left Bush with one of the best equiped and trained force in the world. Bush has overused and abused the this force and now a draft may be the only way that Bush can find enough cannon fodder to pursue his goals. I have an 18 year old son and I am very nervous.

5. can't we just
pull our troops out of Germany, Japan and South Korea? I heard we had 70k in Germany, 40k in Japan and 35k in S Korea. If we only left a handful of people there, we could almost double our strength in Iraq. I can't for the life of me figure out why this is so hard. Or are we still worried about Soviet tanks rolling through Western Europe and those fearsome North Koreans marching through Seoul?
