Death threats from Right to Lifers.
This location used to have a few dozen whacko quotes of the type personified by the two remaining (Coulter & Dobson): http://moose-and-squirrel.com/bozo/bozo.html

According to the webpage, he had to scale it down due to a steep spike in hits. I can't locate my list of those quotes, and I may need them soon. HELP.

1. Ummmm....one of the quotes is....
"State Universities are breeding grounds, quite literally, for sexually transmitted diseases (including HIV), homosexual behavior, unwanted pregnancies, abortions, alcoholism, and drug abuse."

I went to a State University. Everything this guy says is true. That's what made it such a GREAT experience. The only thing I or my friends didn't run into was a case of HIV...but sex, drugs, and a bunch of other deviant stuff were DEFINITELY on the agenda. Hell, that's the FUN part of Uni!!!

2. DIE, Lib'rul scum, DIE!
(Of AIDS, naturally). One of the missing quotes was from Terry Randall (he of the Right to Life Death Squads). Hea also had "a thing" about sodomites. Ironically, his own (adopted) son turned out to be one. There's a moral there.

4. I went to a state school, too, and that's not that much of a stretch
I went to a realy party school-Western Michigan University-in the early to mid 1980s. I hear it's not the party school it used to be, these days.
My freshman year, I stayed out of trouble. My sophmore year, I pledged a sorority and drank a lot. I also drove a friend to the abortion clinic, observed at least three friends go bi-sexual (one ended up gay, the two female friends reverted back to heterosexuality and are now married with children), and observed a fourth drop out of school to pursue full time drug addiction.
I don't think this type of thing is limited to state universities. The rumor around Grand Rapids always was that the Calvin kids threw great parties.

6. hmmf - Does anyone think private colleges are any better?
I had a friend who went to the college that Paul Harvey hails as a great place because they have "rules." There was an incident in campus housing where a male and female student raped another female student. How did the school handle it? They told they guy it would be best if he didn't live on campus anymore.

10. Somehow...
I think they probably were fun leeches. They sucked the fun out of everything they touched. That's why they're so pissed about it...they didn't have the kind of fun we had.

11. I finally sent my request to the owner of that web-site.
Within a few hours, he sent back a screen-shot of that American Taliban page.

From it, I extracted the following:

=====================================================================

"State Universities are breeding grounds, quite literally, for sexually transmitted diseases (including HIV), homosexual behavior, unwanted pregnancies, abortions, alcoholism, and drug abuse."
Dr. James Dobson http://www.family.org/docstudy/solid/a0006261.html

"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren't punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That's war. And this is war."
--Ann Coulter, This is War column, Sept. 13, 2001

"And, I know that I'll hear from them for this. But, throwing God out successfully with the help of the federal court system, throwing God out of the public square, out of the schools. The abortionists have got to bear some burden for this because God will not be mocked. And when we destroy 40 million little innocent babies, we make God mad. I really believe that the pagans, and the abortionists, and the feminists, and the gays and the lesbians who are actively trying to make that an alternative lifestyle, the ACLU, People For the American Way - all of them who have tried to secularize America - I point the finger in their face and say 'you helped this happen'."
Thursday, Sept. 13, 2001--Rev. Jerry Falwell, in an appearance on Pat Robertson's The 700 Club

"The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women.
It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement
that encourages women to leave their husbands,
kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism, and become lesbians."
-- Pat Robertson, fundraising letter, 1992

"The Jews of Temple Beth Sholom are sinful, greedy, Hell-bound, money-grubbing sodomites; and they have dedicated their synagogue to be a gay and lesbian propaganda mill and recruiting depot, soliciting young people to sodomy."
--Rev. Fred Phelps - Sept 7 1998, Westboro Baptist Church press release, re: protesting Jewish groups

"It's like guerrilla warfare. If you reveal your location, all it does is allow your opponent to improve his artillery bearings. It's better to move quietly, with stealth, under cover of night. You've got two choices: You can wear cammies and shimmy along on your belly, or you can put on a red coat and stand up for everyone to see. It comes down to whether you want to be the British army in the Revolutionary War or the Viet Cong. History tells us which tactic was more effective."
-- Ralph Reed, Los Angeles Times, March 22, 1992, admitting that he wants to deceive us regarding his true aims

"We may be the generation that sees Armageddon."
-- Ronald Reagan, in a 1980 interview with criminal televangelist Jim Bakker, quoted from "A Brief History of the Apocalypse"

"The 'wall of separation between church and state' is a metaphor based on bad history, a metaphor which has proved useless as a guide to judging. It should be frankly and explicitly abandoned."
-- William Rehnquist, Dissenting Opinion in Wallace v. Jaffree (1985)

"The Media is ruled by Satan. But yet I wonder if many Christians fully understand that. Also, will they believe what the Media says, considering that its aim is to steal, kill, and destroy?"
-- Rev. Jimmy Swaggart, The Evangelist, January 1988

"I want you to just let a wave of intolerance wash over you. I want you to let a wave of hatred wash over you. Yes, hate is good.... Our goal is a Christian nation. We have a Biblical duty, we are called by God, to conquer this country. We don't want equal time. We don't want pluralism."
-- Randall Terry, quoted in The News-Sentinel, Fort Wayne, Indiana, August 16, 1993

"Gays who practice oral sex verge on consuming raw human blood"
-- Paul Cameron http://www.biblebelievers.com/Cameron2.html

"Unique among the nations, America recognized the source of our character as being godly and eternal, not being civic and temporal. And because we have understood that our source is eternal, America has been different. We have no king but Jesus."
-- John Ashcroft, Commencement address given on May 8, 1999, upon receiving an honorary degree at ultra-right-wing and ultra-fundamentalist Bob Jones University, also known for its anti-African-American segregationist policies

"We're going to bring back God and the Bible and drive the gods of secular humanism right out of the public schools of America."
-- Pat Buchanan, campaign address at an anti-gay rally in Des Moines, Iowa, February 11, 1996

"A civil war is brewing in which we must deal with the Jews. It is a time of reckoning for their pact with the devil."
--Robert G. Millar (1925-2001) http://www.adl.org/learn/Ext_US/Elohim.asp

"We are going to remove the mythical separation of church and state."
--Bishop Carlton Pearson

"Now when homosexuals, or adulterers, or fornicators, or pedophiles, or beast fornicators and beast suckers, or any sexual outlaws, parade themselves around as if they could be followers of Jesus Christ, they demonstrate a lie and blasphemy and abomination."
--Neal Horsley

"By God’s grace, we’ve raised up 60 Do What Jesus Did (DWJD) healing and deliverance teams across America, half of them established just this year. But it’s not enough. We must not rest until every person in America is no more than a day’s drive from a DWJD team where they can find freedom from the terrorism of demonic torment"
--Bob Larson http://www.boblarson.org/index.html

"We are to make Bible-obeying disciples of anybody that gets in our way."
--Jay Grimstead, February 1987

"Nobody has the right to worship on this planet any other God than Jehovah. And therefore the state does not have the responsibility to defend anybody's pseudo-right to worship an idol."
--Rev. Joseph Morecraft,Chalcedon Presbyterian Church, Marietta, Georgia, quoted in "the Public Eye," June 1994

" We are engaged in a social, political, and cultural war. There's a lot of talk in America about pluralism. But the bottom line is somebody's values will prevail. And the winner gets the right to teach our children what to believe."
-- Gary Bauer, (source unknown)

"What beat me was more homosexual money than in any race in history, including from a group called Lesbians for Motherhood."
--Ousted Orange County, Calif., Congressman Bob Dornan to The Wall Street Journal. Dornan, rabidly anti-gay, lost to gay-friendly Loretta Sanchez by a few hundred votes.

"Regrettably, the spirit of "tolerance" seems to have a strong grip upon the American psyche. It may take a family tragedy to awaken parents to the reality of what is happening to their sons. Will parents have to endure the trauma of discovering their son has been molested by a homosexual Scout leader or infected with AIDS before they realize that "tolerance" of homosexuality leads to death?"
--Rev. Louis P. Sheldon

"We are approaching a time when Christians, especially, may have to declare the social contract between Enlightenment rationalists and Biblical believers - which formed the basis of the constitution written at our nation's founding - null and void."
--Cal Thomas, conservative commentator; Washington Times, 1996-OCT-23

"The long-term goal of Christians in politics should be to gain exclusive control over the franchise. Those who refuse to submit publicly to the eternal sanctions of God by submitting to His Church's public marks of the covenant--baptism and holy communion--must be denied citizenship, just as they were in ancient Israel."
-- Gary North - Political Polytheism: The Myth of Pluralism, Tyler, TX: Institute for Christian Economics, 1989, p. 87

"With all due respect to those dear people, my friend, God Almighty does not hear the prayer of a Jew."
--Bailey Smith, a founding father of Robertson's Christian Coalition, once told 15,000 people at a Religious Roundtable briefing in Dallas, June 26, 1994

"When the Christian majority takes over this country, there will be no satanic churches, no more free distribution of pornography, no more talk of rights for homosexuals. After the Christian majority takes control, pluralism will be seen as immoral and evil and the state will not permit anybody the right to practice evil."
--Gary Potter, president of Catholics for Christian Political Action

"The Christian community has a golden opportunity to train an army of dedicated teachers who can invade the public school classrooms and use them to influence the nation for Christ."
--D. James Kennedy, "Education: Public Problems and Private Solutions," Coral Ridge Ministries, 1993

"I want to coin a phrase here, and I don't mind help. What would be the communication version of "ethnic cleansing?" Because that's what in particular the homosexual activists try to do."
--Dr. Laura Schlessinger, August 11, 1999

"Women have babies and men provide the support. If you don't like
the way we're made you've got to take it up with God."
http://atheism.about.com/library/quotes/bl_q_PSchlafly.htm

"...Christian values should dominate our government. The test of
those values is the Bible. Politicians who do not use the Bible to
guide their public and private lives do not belong in office. "
--Beverly LaHaye http://loudoun.net/mainstream/quotes.htm

"The other religions merely assaults the one faith. The Court in
essence is assailing the true God by democratizing the Christian
religion."
John Whitehead, founder & president of the Rutherford Institute, The Separation Illusion

"I'm an old-fashioned woman. Men should take care of women, and if men were taking care of women (today) we wouldn't have to vote."
State Sen. Kay O'Connor, Kansas Republican--September 28, 2001--Kansas City Star

"Satan uses homosexuals as pawns. They're in, as you know, key positions in the media, they're in the White House, they're in everything, they're in Hollywood now. Then, unfortunately, after he uses them, he infects them with AIDS and then they die."
Anthony Falzarano, PFOX, Janet Parshall's America, 2/27/96

``If God is in fact separated from the government, then we can never possibly have a godly government. There's no way for America to be good if she's not godly.''
Joyce Meyer to a standing ovation at the Christian Coalition's Road to Victory Conference, 2002, Washington D.C..

"Get the few liberals out. If you don't do it, it ain't gonna be done," Sen. James Inhofe, R-Oklahoma, told the crowd at the Washington Convention Center. "You will be doing the Lord's work, and he will richly bless you for it."
Christian Coalition's Road to Victory Conference, 2002, Washington D.C.
