Thought provoking comment on tonight's Laura Flander's show
"Nader is responsible for us being at war right now."
The logic being that if Gore were president, he would not have instigated a war with Iraq.

Hmmmmmm.

1. well
Nader is not without fault. And he's doing it again. He took Repugnant ad money in 2000 and he's doing again in 2004. Shame on the bastard.

2. What a wonderful world
it might be if Nader had just given his *ego* a rest in 2000. How can he sleep at night doing it again? He must be a greedy egotistical SOB!

3. Another great comment I heard on Laura Flander's show...
could be used as a campaign slogan.."Who would you rather be in a foxhole with? * or Kerry?"

7. Take it one step further, orlandoFL

Take it a step further, oFL...

Consider the facts now common knowledge that the Bush Misministration did nearly nothing -- from the time they came to office until September 13th, 2001 -- on the issue of Al Qaeda and global terrorism.

I've posted to DU in the past, and believe it to this day, that 9/11 may well have never happened had Al Gore not been denied the Presidency (through Antonin Scalia's transparently political, judicial coup).

Had Gore won out, Richard Clarke's plan, delivered on December 20th, 2000 to the Clinton Admin, could have been immediately implemented *and* we would have stayed on the trail of the USS Cole bombers -- rather than tabling anything terrorism-related in favor of missile defense and tax cutting. And there's no telling what information would have fallen out had the Clinton-era "shaking of the trees" been practiced Summer through Fall of 2001.

We'll never know.

JOMO...

p.s. Of course, my assumptions don't take into account that Repugnants may have thrown the country into chaos, extrapolating their Miami riots to stop vote counting. Hell, the Repugnants may have made Al Qaeda look like amateurs.

9. No, Jeb Bush is responsible. He had all those voters purged in
Florida and then he (with Cruella de Ville) battled on the ground in Florida to get the electoral votes for *.

Who put him in office? Floridians!

It's their fault!

10. NH gone to Gore - no 911, no Iraq, no Patriot act. Prolly impeachment
and many investigations in the internet invention and the Budhist temple.
