According to the Washington Post, the Bush White House has acknowledged that *'s claim during his State of the Union speech that "Iraq has attempted to purchase uranium from an African nation" was false. Freepers, wingnuts, and right-wing newsrags have been screeching about presidential credibility for the past 12 years. They also fall all over themselves fawning over "our plain-spoken president". OK, try this on for size. George Bush is either a damned fool or a fucking liar. Is that plain-spoken enough for you?

He was told the evidence didn't exist. His response was to get pissed. He then got up in front of us all and said exactly what he wanted to say anyway. That's lying. No, scratch that. It's fucking lying.
