The Official Handbook of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy
Has anyone seen this new book by Mark W. Smith? It's supposed to help right-wingers "debunk" progressive ideas. I've only skimmed it, but it's gotten me thinking...

I'd like to start some kind of a site or group blog devoted to refuting conservative arguments (as well as books like this one).

Many of you are familiar with Steve Kangas' http://www.huppi.com/kangaroo/LiberalFAQ.htm">Long FAQ on Liberalism. It's a great introduction, but unfortunately, it only gives basic overviews and hasn't been updated in years.

We should build on Kangas' work and build a user-friendly compendium of information to help progressives unmask the lies of the right -- perhaps a Wiki?

Anyone interested?

2. Malloy's site had link to letter about good liberals have done for US
It was a letter published ca 4-5 years ago in the Tulsa World.

Rural electrification, social security, GI Bill, etc. And pointing out that republicans had voted against most if not all of them.

Anyone have a link??
