Have YOU killed a Baby today?
By your inaction?

YOU have the ability to stop the slaughter, why are you just sitting there?

Rumsfeld has been claiming Insurgents are "causing these problems" in Iraq.
Problems????
Our mostly young troops are being FORCED to kill innocent people because they are being LIED to, told that there are
some "evil people" in the Iraqi towns trying to rise up against their efforts to bring "Freedom" to Iraq.

Due to the ORDERS which came down from Rumsfeld, these young people in the Military are shooting innocent men,
women and children.

When they find out THE TRUTH it is going to destroy them for the rest of their lives as the lives of The Viet Nam Vets
were destroyed!

Sorry but I do not belief innocent men should be considered any less valuable than women and children, HELL they are
seeing a bunch of invaders killing their wife's and children, are they supposed to stand there and ALLOW it???
They are doing what any normal man would do in a situation like this.

Are the women and even children are trying to defend themselves too, what choice do they have??
Are they supposed to hole up in their homes without food, water, medical attention while snipers are shooting any thing
that moves???

A Marine shot a teenage girl who was herding sheep in the hills alone. His excuse was that "insurgents" were posing as
sheep herders to shoot at our troops.

WE have to STOP this insanity. If we allow it, we are no different than the German citizens who stood back as millions of
Jewish people were murdered.
How many of Americans refused to accept ignorance of the facts by German Citizens as an excuse after W.W.II?
WE do NOT have the excuse of being ignorance of the facts.
Will we be able to live with ourselves, will we have ANY right to state Patriotism and Pride in our FLAG if we allow these
atrocities to be done in the NAME OF OUR FLAG?
Bush was NOT elected.
Even if he had been elected, he did not run on a platform that he was going to invading Iraq and slaughtering innocent
people!!!

One American Soldier dies and the whole State turns out in sorrow, while thousands of innocent people are being killed
and we hear no sorrow or apology or the least little bit of concern from our media, our elected officials, or our citizens.
How is it that one American who dies is worth more than hundreds killed in the same time span in Iraq?
When did we, as an individual American citizen, become more important, more valuable, than any other individual in the
world?

Do not all human beings hold the same value?
Look at your child, your husband, your wife, your parent, your neighbor!
Oh how we mourn the Oklahoma bombing's victims, we have week long "specials" on the Columbine shootings that tug at
our heartstrings and make us remember how we felt during that terrible time FIVE years ago.
And September Eleven ~~~ That was so bad, hurt our country and actually brought sympathy from our enemies as well
as our friends around the world!

Kadafhi even expressed his outrage and sympathy for what had been done.

And the people who corruptly took our country away from our control are exploiting the fear, horror, pain we will hold for
the rest of our lives. They have done it to the point were people are becoming hardened to it. That happens when
emotional pain is slammed at you over and over, it is a mental defense mechanism, survival of sanity depends on it.
Instead of doing what they were trying to do to get Bush re-elected, people's emotional reaction to the exploitation, to
pictures of the 911 attacks with Bush in his re-election ads caused anger and resentment.

But daily, hourly innocent people in Iraq are being killed for existing, for attempting to have some semblance of a life.

Each innocent Iraqi Citizen killed should be as important as each person who has died in this country or any other.

We are guilty of ALLOWING these atrocities that are happening at this very minute in Iraq!
How long will YOU sit there doing nothing to stop it? What are YOU waiting for?
Someone else to speak out first???
Well here you go, I have.
Now there are no more excuses for not demanding an end to this NOW!
Please feel free to copy and post any or all of this everywhere.
You know I am right.
Call, fax, e-mail your government, the media, everyone you know and demand an end to this atrocity being perpetrated in
Your Name. Bush may have started this, but now WE, YOU own it.
This is not the time to be polite, Innocent People and Our Children are dying!

4. I realise people here are, send it to the others
What I was hoping for was that the people here would send this message to those fence sitters and freepers, and the
media, politicians asking them the question.
Forcing them to acknowledge the fact and do something about it!
Tell them, (those in a position to do something about it), that by them NOT doing any thing to stop it, they will as guilty as
those who ignored the Holocaust in W.W.II.

The killing has to be stopped now, if as many people as possible demand it, the administration will be forced into
stopping.

Rumsfeld needs to be called liar to his face in front of the media and told that The America People know the truth and
demand to killing be stopped.

The message, if sent around, will reach someone in the media who will print the letter, which will hopefully get back to the
administration letting them know it's all over, we Americans will no longer accept the actions being perpetrated by this
illegal war.

2. Good Rant
but may be much more powerful on a rightwing board, such as FreeRepublic or RightNation. They are the ones who fawn over their glorious murderous leader, we've been trying to fight it from day one and have been ignored.

When Bush* ignores 10 MILLION people marching against a war - what else to do?

Write letters to the editor - check
Called, faxed, e-mail Senators and Congress people - check
Protest - check

Our voices are being drowned out - and protestors will very soon be arrested and jailed. What do you suggest?

5. We need to try again
Befor Bush started the war the media was in lockstep with the administration.
We now see more and more media breaking away, we can nNOW send them information which they will be more open to reporting. I believe they would cover protests now, with what is happening in Iraq.

7. Post to mixed and rightwing boards
Put it out there so it can plant the seeds which will grow quickly in the minds of those who are hearing the exposures of what was done by this administration.
The next time they see someone from the administration giving weasle words instead of answer (b*ll sh*t) it will cause that seed of doubt to nurture and grow, eventually coming into full bloom of the truth.
We Have to do something, we cannot sit and allow the killing to continue, of our troops and innocent people.

The media is now breaking away from the administration's view, we need to let them know how we feel, and hold them responcible for the results if they fail to act on the knowledge of the truth.

9. good post.
Many, many of us here on Du protested and continually protest. Despite Kerry's minimal rejection of the war.Your post is valid and pertinent even here. Alot of people here are saying let's let Kerry take care of this 10 months or so from now when he gets in and then tries to get the UN involved blah blah blah. let's stop the war now is so much more meaningful then that rhetoric. Of course that requires us to hit the streets. What are we waiting for? how many people have to die? how many ? how many is too many?

like i said good post.

My point exactly! Every day Bushco is in office, crimes against humanity are being committed.

Crimes against our country by those in charge.

They believe they are above the law.

Use my first post and mail it to the media, if even one of twoo use it, that is a start, Other boards, put it there.
Print it out and hand it out at to every one.

That is doing something, getting it out. Once understood, people will be in the streets demanding the carnage stop!

15. Nope, a Female VietNam Vet
I remember how people took to the streets in the 60's and 70's to stop the carnage of our G.I.'s and the innocent victims in VietNam, Cambodia, Laos etc.
I cannot understand why it is not happening NOW.
With so many people exposing the Bush admin, I KNOW the sheeple are listening and that is when we need to hit them with the facts.
They are no longer living in the shock of 911, and the fact that the Bush admin did nothing to prevent it even though they had been warned repeatedly has left people hungry for facts right now.
NOW is the time to bring back out all of the stuff we tried to tell them two years ago. Even the media is starting to listen and report the Facts.
