Comparing Kerry and Bush - help me out
*John Kerry is the son of wealth, born in New England, attended exclusive private schools, and Yale.
*George W. Bush is the son of wealth, born in New England, attended exclusive private schools, and Yale.

*John Kerry delivered his class oration at his 1966 Yale graduation and was head of Yale's political union.
*George W. Bush was in the bottom 20% of his Freshman class at Yale.

*John Kerry volunteered for service in Vietnam.
*George W. Bush got out of service in Vietnam by getting in the National Guard.

*John Kerry was praised by his COs, and decorated for valor in combat.
*George Bush was partying in Alabama, while supposedly working on a the senatorial campaign of Red Blount- he frequently came to "work" late telling everyone of his nightly drunk excapades (NPR interview with people who worked with W in Alabama). George W. Bush did not report for Guard duty in 1972.

*John Kerry returned from Vietnam a changed man, and risked his reputation and future speaking out for Vietnam vets against the war.
*George W. Bush continued to party and entered what he calls his "nomadic years."

*John Kerry graduated from Boston College law school and served as a prosecutor.
*Bush enrolled in Harvard Business school and received an MBA. He moved back home and tried his hand in the family oil business.

*John Kerry entered politics in the 1980s, first as Lt. Governor of Mass. then later being elected to the Senate in 1985.
*Bush tried his hands in many business ventured including a piece of the Texas Rangers baseball club. Attempted to enter politics in 1977 with a failed congressional bid, in 1994 he would win the governorship of Texas.

1. We see all this very clearly.

We see the absolutely abysmal performance in the press conference.
We see the shameful redistribution of wealth.
We see the most blatent cronyism ever.
We see the 'absolutely destroy your critics' mentality in *.
We see the results of one party rule. The Treasury is laid bare.
We see our kids and grandchildren having to pay for *'s crimes.

We see an awful lot more reprehensible behavior in Washington.

I sure wish I understood why polls don't show a 80 - 20 split right now.
