John Kerry's Campaign
I believe that we are witnessing one of the most masterful political campaigns in history. The military records thing was a piece of tactical art. I think that John Kerry took some valuable lessions from the VietCong, draw the enemy into your jungle, use their weakness against them and in the end, be the last man standing.
Bend like the bamboo grasshoppers, for we are in very good and compitent hands.

1. Even the best campaigns are messy an full of mistakes.
So, you might be overstating it a bit. But Kerry has run a very good campaign. He's energetic and intelligent and learns from his mistakes. There will be ups and downs, but this is going to be a very close race in the end.

2. He's ambushed his competition in the primaries, now he's starting on W
I don't expect him to really "get rolling" until after the convention, but what I've seen so far is impressive. He's the first presidential candidate I'd characterize as "stealthy".

3. The contrast in records will become more apparent as the
mess in Iraq explodes, Bush's incompetence on the economy and 9/11 becomes more exposed. And when the debates start, the sight of a Cheney-less Bush going against Kerry will be a political event worth taping. I'll go out on a limb and say that there will be only one debate, because the results will be so awful that Bush will not be allowed to repeat it a second time.

4. Kerry is gonna crush bush like a bug.

Dimson has had to spend nearly $50 million so far just to stay even with Kerry (that sucks for an incumbent pRez) Kerry has raised more $ in the last month or so than anyone ever running for Prez.

Our patience will be rewarded and then some JFK is just in the warm up phase. When the rubber meets the road I wouldn't want to be bush.
