Iraq/ContraGate - $700 million; MedicareGate: $150 billion

We are all worked up about Iraq-Contra, as we should be.
And we are spending $2 BILLION per WEEK in Iraq.

Not ONE, but a Thousand Impeachments are in order.

But what about the IMMENSE Medicare scandal? Over TWO HUNDRED TIMES AS COSTLY AS IRAQ/CONTRAGATE? And proven Repuke bribery and coverup in the House to buy votes for passage of the Medicare Bill, slong with threats to silence the actuary turned whistleblower.

How quickly we forget. Its rapid-fire corruption on a scale not seen since Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin.

Repubs taught us in the 1990s that nothing need be proven....only alleged and then a full blown special prosecutor is ordered for duty....

I blame the media....its really sad watching the manistreem media these days. They are embarrasing themselves and they dont even know it. There are 100s of watergates all over this administration and the media sleeps...fucking disgusting!

2. While both are theft

While both are theft, the $700 million is more directly theft.

When Congress appropriates money for one purpose, and a President (or illegitimate-President) spends it on something else, that is a theft which violates the Constituation and should result in impeachment.

In the case of the $150 billion Medicare theft, it's more theft-by-fraud then direct-theft, and Bush hasn't been personally linked to it, and that is why there may be more talk of the $700 million for Afghanistan Bush ordered spent on Iraq.
