O'Reilly - "all Muslims are terrorists"
"and you're living in a dream world if you don't believe it. "

The guest brings up Christian terrorists - O'Reilly says "I knew you were going to do that".

What a hoot! This guy must be on the Oxy too!

3. It all makes sense now
I have a friend who is muslim, who is doing college here.

She is one of the nicest and most sincere people I know, and is very polite.

But, if OReilley says so, I guess she MUST be a terrorist.

I quit watching O'Liely a long time ago because I realized that his shows and reporting are nothing but journalistic garbage, and he has no credibility whatsoever.

22. That is the beautiful thing about FAUX's lineup
It has this fake news program hosted by Brit Hume, in which some news is reported and then spun like a top by Hume. Anyway, it gives people watching the evening lineup the necessary illusion that they are watching a legitimate news network with a legitimate news lineup.

Then OReilley comes on and preaches his self-contradicting BS.

After that, Hannity comes on and yells at EVERYBODY, occasionally getting in a lie about Clinton being offered Osama "on a silver platter" in addition to at least a ten minute segment of Reagan worship.

Then Gretta Testosterone comes on, and although her program is basically infotainment, it seems like legitimate news again because at least she isnt foaming at the mouth about "secularists" and "left wing fringe groups".

So, the lineup syncs beautifully.

Brit Hume programs you with occasional tidbits of news, adding a reich wing slant. OReilley tells you that you are under attack from a slim minority who wants to kill your children and steal Christmas, Hannity tells you who is to blame for your problems and then yells at his scapegoat, and then Gretta helps you ease your way into your Valium-induced sleep

17. well, he kind of got tricked into it
he was saying how all muslims should finally rise up against the terrorists, because they killed muslim children this time. The guest said, well, not all muslims are terrorists and O'Reilly in naturally trying to contradict the guest he is attacking, said "oh yes they are... If you don't believe it you're living in a fantasy world."

I think his mouth was a few feet ahead of his brain. Obviously, he would not have made such a foolish statement if he knew what he was saying.

7. I know. I was just talking with some of my Al Qaeda buddies...
Edited on Wed Apr-21-04 07:54 PM by northwest
And we were planning some REALLY groundbreaking stuff to hopefully occur by June. Apparently Mohammed (we call him "Little Mohammed) has access to a crop duster that... Well, you'll just have to find out.;) Then we all said our praise and prayers to our Grand Leader Bin Laden and the All Mighty Vengeful Allah (who will SMOTE the American Infidel), and exchanged new rounds for our automatic weapons, and left for our individual duties. Hopefully Habib and I will be partaking in a little "mission" soon. I can't say anything else, but you might want to stay away from the Mall of America this summer.

After all, Fargo, North Dakota has over 3,000 Muslims and is BREEDING GROUND for Al Qaeda terrorists. But those stupid American infidels will never know...

(End sarcasm)

Seriously though, I'm Muslim.

Muhammad Ali is a terrorist??!! The one who lit the Olympic torch?! :grr: (think what he could've done to O'Really before his Parkinson's...)

27. yes, the guest took issue with "all terrorists are Muslim"
and tried to say that some terrorists were Christian, Jewish, etc - but was cut off repeatedly.

However, O'Reilly did NOT say that "all Muslims are terrorists."

If he did, I would be laughing hysterically, waiting for the replay, and setting his words to music by morning.

Come to think of it, I should just edit it to make him say that all Muslims are terrorists.

I was listening very carefully.

The guest said "Not all muslims are terrorists", and O'Reilly contradicted him and said "yes they are, and if you don;t believe it you're living in a dream world". He probably meant that all terrorists are Muslim, another foolish statement to make, but he was reacting too fast for his brain.

36. Today's Globe & Mail: "Fox News. Not here yet, but already hilarious"
Reacting to my column, which cheerfully suggested that the proposal to bring the Fox News Channel to Canada should be acted upon promptly, so that we can all take a look, and get a laugh, O'Reilly gave us a Fox-style whacking. In his segment The Most Ridiculous Item of the Day, he quoted from my column (which called him "pompous"), dismissed The Globe as a lefty outfit and said, "Hey you pinheads up there, I may be pompous, but at least I'm honest."

Right. But the very idea that The Globe and Mail is "far left" only proves my point that the Fox News Channel is the most hilarious thing on American TV since Seinfeld. When we get to see it, we'll decide if, like Seinfeld, it's about nothing.

...

The people who support Fox News must be the most uncivil and foul-mouthed creatures on the planet. This is an informed opinion. They'd give English soccer hooligans a run for their money.

I lost count of the number of times I was called "an a**hole." It was at least 43 times, anyway. I was called "a pussy," "a wussy," "a pr**k," "a jerk," "a hack" and "a creep." A man in Cleveland not only called me "an a**hole" but also wished me a "f***ed-up day." A lady -- and I use the term advisedly -- in Colorado wrote to say that all Canadians are "a**holes" and then ordered me not to visit her state. I was also called a Canadian numerous times, as if that were an automatic and withering insult.

In an nice touch, a man from somewhere-in-the-USA opened by cheerfully calling me "sonny bub" and, after some confusing name-calling that involved the word "intellectual," he rose to a great rhetorical flourish -- he asked if I had served in Vietnam! Nothing of the sort has ever come from viewers of Newsworld, CTV Newsnet, CNN, MSNBC or, indeed ROB-TV. My point was that we have a great deal to learn from the Fox News Channel. And I am proved right. Talking to Americans is always a tonic. Bring on Fox News and bring it fast. Let's see this thing that has so many ardent and incredibly aggressive viewers.

...still on TV? Ask O'Reilly what he thinks about the fact that his Fuerer got a good deal of his start up capital from terrorists and terrorist sponsors, and hell, I'm not even talking about Muslims, I mean ACTUAL TERRORISTS (regardless of their professed religion). Jesus, O'Reilly is a friggin terrorist. What's the definition of a terrorist? Someone that uses fear, hatred, threat of violence as a means of incluencing public or government policy. THAT'S O'REILLY!
