Anybody have a source for "Bandar's wife gave $130K to 9/11 terrorists"?

I saw it in the cartoon below. If true, it makes Bush look incredibly bad.

Especially given things like:

- Bush's statement during his recent press conference on the reasons we went to war with Iraq ("He (Hussein) was a threat because he funded suiciders")
- the Woodward revelations that Bandar was told about Iraq war plans at all (forget whether it was before or after Powell knew)

Seriously, so we not only have Bush's best buddy funding "suiciders", which for him was good enough (now that there are no WMDs) to attack and overthrow a nation. But we have this money going to support not the families left behind by the "suiciders", but to financially support the actual suicide ATTACK on our country!

Excuse me while I try to place my lower jaw back in place, as it seems to have dropped to heretofore record depths.

I guess the FBI is "looking into it"... as of late 2002, anyway. Has this dropped down the memory hole, or will it come back since Bandar is back in the news in such a big way?

I forget when it occurred, but over a period of years, the prince and his wife gave money to islamic charity groups that were funnelling the money to terrorists. The terrorists included one or two of the 9/11 hijackers.

The Saudi Royals were in serious danger here since we all knew it was Al Queda in Afghanistan right? Clearly that poses a problem for our 'pals' the Saudi royals. No time to stick around answering questions, gotta run because USA isn't safe for the extemely priveleged...
