georgewbush.com claims "3,873 parties planned for Thursday, April 29!"
http://www.georgewbush.com/party/PartyEvent.aspx

Lots of party favors here, like the downloadable PDF brochure you can use to "Encourage your friends to get out and vote for Bush." If his arm were held a little straighter in the photo it would be a perfect "sieg heil" pose. http://www.georgewbush.com/BTL/team_leadr.pdf

You can create a "custom poster" for your party in black & white or COLOR (http://www.georgewbush.com/btl/customposter.aspx?type=color)and include your state, plus select from a dazzling array of categories (also known in the political world as "demographics"):
African Americans!
Arab Americans!
Asian Americans!
Farmers and Ranchers!
...and many, many, many more.

Plus, thrill to this bone-chilling announcement:

"Thanks to an overwhelming response we have reached our goal of 2004 Parties for the President on Thursday, April 29! But you can still be a part of this important grassroots event. Parties with five or more RSVPs through GeorgeWBush.com will join Vice President Cheney and thousands of Bush-Cheney supporters on a nationwide conference call at 8:30pm EST. Sign up now to host one of these fun, informal parties to help re-elect President Bush!"

Unfortunately, there's nothing on the web site advising you of where to get alcohol, drugs, or hookers for the party (for those of you who want to celebrate in the TRUE Dubya 'n' Evil Dick tradition).

It doesn't get more frightening than this, folks.

1. YES!!!!! Another custom sign-maker!!
Only a handful of weeks ago, the official Bush/Cheney Reselection Website had to yank their "Create your own yardsigns!" tool, because too many of us jokers were having yuks at their expense.

Do these people learn nothing?? Off to make my funny signage...

2. Now that's a party I'd like to crash
Maybe we could set up a DU party and get in on that conference call.

5. Poll on Bush's site is good reflection of his leadership
Something to the extent of "How many people has Bush helped?"

Lowest choice allowed is 12 million.

You vote for that.

"You are wrong."

Think this is how the elections in Nov. will look? *pushes Kerry button* computer voice: "We're sorry, you voted for the.. wrong candidate. please try again."

7. I wrote them...
"How the hell is that a 'QuickVote'? When someone responds to a vote, or a survey, you don't tell them they are incorrect. Maybe you are confusing push polling with voting, or maybe you're just a bunch of shameless, fradulent crooked ass crackers."

8. They're just morons
They either don't understand what 'vote' means or they were too lazy to READ what the stupid thing said.

Morons, the lot of them. *ptui*

6. That sign-maker is L-A-M-E!
Edited on Wed Apr-21-04 03:23 PM by redqueen
All it does it put a few words over the all-caps BUSH message. My FIVE YEAR OLD could do that BY HAND.

"Ooooh, teck-nee-kull!" Moronic rethugs. :eyes:

And did these yahoos plan this party on the same day that needledick and his puppet master are 'testifying' before the 9/11 committee?

Way to distract your flock from what you DIDN'T DO to protect them, COWARDS!

9. LOL!
If you read the party invitations, you'll notice the text is scripted on some of them. Of course the same talking points are there as well 'steady leadership'... :puke:
