Media Whore Cables Comparing Schwartanegger to Reagan! Tweety/Woodruff/
Edited on Thu Aug-07-03 03:19 PM by KoKo01
Bay Buchanan/Reporters in the Field.

Disgusting display of Whoreness........Overlooking Gore's Speech. Woodruff showing pictures of Reagan being sworn in juxatoposed with Schwart's arrival to file with Thousands of Cheering Masses and Cameras following him.

Tweety say: He's a real man....a real person.....not a politician......a man of the people like Ronald Reagan was.....A Gulliver among the Lilliputions!!" He continues saying... "The Californians Love the Guy! No one can get crowds out like this one, even the cops on the street love him.." (I swear that's what Matthew's said). I couldn't believe ........Tweety is a very sick person.

The cables are covered with pictures of Arnold arriving in his limo.....like he's arriving for the Academy Awards with microphones camera's smiling and cheering crowds asking him for autographs.

Schwartzen's...is the Second Coming.....to these whore media.

The most disgusting display I've seen yet ...........and all I was doing was looking for Gore's Speech coverage.

On EDIT: Both MSNBC and CNN had photos of Reagan all over the place........so that's the spin.

One thing they forget. Schwartzenegger can't be President. He's foreign born......but I guess they figure that can be changed by Bush/Rove and the Repugs in time for him to run in 2008 if he makes it in California.

1. In my haste I mispelled Schwartzenneger's name in Subject and can't edit
for some reason. I may still have it wrong......but who cares.

5. "Swart" is close enough! He said he wants to represent all Californians.
So why is he running as a Republican?

6. The one thing I saw
was arrogance from his announcement. But then again I come from a biased perspective.

4. Democratic President:
There was a question the other day as to who should we have the IRS audit first!
We should go after Arnold first. Then we should go after the former Bush misAdministration!!!
Next, we should re-regulate the media and get rid of this GD cable news shit!
Cable "news" is SHIT!!!

7. Fair
Sorry, comparing a conservative actor turned governor to a conservative actor who is trying to run for governor in the same state is a fair comparison. In fact, if they HADN'T done it, THAT would have been ridiculous.

Although Arnie may be less conservative and more intelligent - I really don't know.

8. No, I think Arnie's heart is in the right place
Even though he hits fouls now and then.

Arnie is a social Democrat(even though people claim he's an R).

Ronnie Raygun is 10 pounds of shit in a 5 pound bag.

is appealing? I can't stand him.....but then I didn't like his movies either. But, since there's so much hoopla over the guy it makes me think it's guys/gals who loved his movies who are all ecstatic about him running.

Or, maybe folks like his wife and thinks she "wears the pants" in the family.

I just don't get it........except that people think he's the same person as the part he played in movies. Obviously Tweety is after him.....with some male fantasy going there, I think.

9. Scandal stuff may be his undoing
Then again, he's an actor, so people may discount it.

But if both Bustamante and Garamendi stay in, and Simon doesn't get in, he may win anyway.

17. CNBC saying Swartz's entering Calif Recall is due to CA Debt and Bond's
CNBC folks just said......"Want to know why all the attention to CA Recall and Candidates? It's CA's Debt."

The State's debt is so bad that it's being downgraded by Moody's and Californian's are going to be paying off the ebt from the inflated prices their bonds are selling at for generations.."

So, if someone comes in and straightens out the debt or bring a new face into CA....the citizens of that state will be facing deat for generations.

That's CNBC's spin for cutting to Swart's limo and the cheering crowds arriving to file his candidate papers.

Pretty poor excuse for Media Whoring even though there's much truth in CA's problems. IMHO.

19. Tweety has a short memory
Raygun was a real person, a man of the people? Perhaps Tweety never heard the story attributed to his old boss, Tip O'Neil. Supposedly, the first time Raygun met Tip, he had cue cards in his hand, and the first card said: "Good Morning, Tip" And, could it be that Tweety has forgotten all about IranContra. Since it didn't involve a consensual blow job, he probably passed right over it. Never mind that Raygun and Bush(ver 1.0) tried to rape the US Constitution.
God, I love the beltway reporters. Their world is so bizzare. Substance don't count, but fluff does.

21. Nothing I wouldn't expect from Corporate TV Pravda
Yes, we are rapidly sinking to Soviet levels.

Believe me, if these shadows remain unaltered by the future that will only be a small waypoint on the way to even greater depths.

22. Agree! Maybe someone on DU will do a history of Pravda in the old Soviet
Union. Many DU'ers have little experience with that period in the 20th Century. And most American's seem to be "brain dead" including those who should remember it........

It makes one want to yell and shout and say "GIVE US FREE MEDIA!" But, then we've been doing that in e-mails to the media whore here since the "Selection."
