Where is Norman Schwarzkopf these days??
In the run up (or what we thought was the run up...it now is clear that it was at least a year prior) to the war in Iraq, Norman Schwarzkopf was pretty vocal about getting a real coalition, and letting the arms inspectors continue. He clearly is no fan of Rumsy.

Where has he been? Is he playing the good little repug?
I really believe if he were to speak out about the war, lack of a plan, etc. that even Rove couldn't wage much of a smear campaign on him.

1. That's exactly right.... his silence is telling.
Is he so beholden to Poppy and Poppy's boy that he would rather remain quiet and out of sight instead of speaking out aganst the war plans?

He must be cringing... Sending in the national guard and the reservists to OCCUPY and hold down the fort.

He probably doesn't dig the privatizing of services (the thought that Halliburton would cut supply lines because it's just too dangerous out there!!)

I pray that he comes forward...... but he won't.

And you know Rove hounds him trying to get him to come stand next to chimpy for some photo ops..... LOL, Norman probably changed his phone number.

3. Norman's done his bit
He played the seasoned skeptic, then after Powell's amateur hour before the UN, played the convinced customer. Old Stormin' Norman came around, why shouldn't you? Fuck him.

4. I think we can agree on his stance...
I felt the same way before the start of combat operations. To bad he is being quiet, but I can respect that fact he hasn't spoken out.
