11. I love my president because

he makes me feel so safe. He's not afraid to fight the good fight and he takes a stand for the values that I believe in. He's not just a regular guy, but then again maybe he is a little bit. No other president could have responded so well to the tragedy of 9/11 as he did. Yes, he does have a good relationship with much of the wealth of our country, but these folks are the backbone of our future prosperity, so this is logical. He is like my husband in his love of sports and I'm glad that he's not too smart seeming. Sometimes I think that he could even be a neighbor of mine-he'd just fit right in. That Kerry fellow seems a little too liberal for me and I sure can't afford any more taxes. I just squeak by the way it is now. Hopefully, if the Lord wills, we'll have him for another four years. God bless America and thanks for your interest in my thoughts.

P.S. Are MIHOP and LIHOP restaurants like IHOP? If so, I hope one comes to our town.

I made an honest post last night about Kerry and the 1st response was..."33 posts...hummmmm."

I dont post much but I have been reading for a while. I made an honest reply to a post and was suspect. It seems to me that this place has gone paraniod and there is NO reason to be.

Any Freeper wont last long if they show themselves and if they dont then no harm no foul. I am not much of a talker but I enjoy reading here, and I do like to speak from time to time.

I am not a Kerry fan but I am also ABB.

I appreciate your sentiment.

For the past few months there has been an interesting dynamic on DU. Keeping in mind that DU is gaining some degree of noteriety, there are plenty of disrupters who don't have enough to keep them busy. However, because there is a massive tide of discontent with this pResident, we are also getting a LOT of new members who are actually interested in sharing their thoughts.

The challenge that many of the old-timers face (I guess, I'm not one) is to remain open enough and give the benefit of the doubt. Its important because this board must be a safe haven for the new members prior to the general election.

Anyway, if you're sincere, stick around. If you're not....ya got me.

I Dont think I have ever(in my under 40 posts)...lol...Been disruptive. I wont say it will never happen, cause I am me and I am here to listen and learn. So, I will always be open minded and I might open my mouth from time to time if I have a thought thats different from the norm.
