I know most of the time it feels like we here, at DU, are preaching to the choir BUT but hope is still alive. I, as a 19 yr old college student, gave a speech today in my speech class on why Bush is such a failure. Once the speech was over, I receieved the loudest applause out of all the speeches. I also was told by 5 classmates that they'd vote for me!!! Hope is still alive friends. We need to spread the word to EVERYONE you see. Tell them what Bush is doing and how it affects THEM. That is the way to sway votes. Like the other poster said, the average American doesn't give a flip that Bush released a CIA operatives name. They don't know that Saddam never had WMD. Get active. I'm not saying campaign for Kerry, but get active and spread the issues around. Thanks.

I think people ARE more interested when they are presented with the facts.

A tactic of the operatives against us is to declare politics and policy positions BORING to people. That's why they only talk about important issues in monotone voices while using heated rhetoric for divisive, demagogue-type issues.
