Prediction of the Week: Toomey catches Specter
I'm still divided as to who Hoeffel would be better off against, but I think we're in for a very close primary on the 27th in any event.

1. hoeffel would be *much* better against toomey.
toomey is a nutcase. hoeffel won in an *extremely* conservative district as a democrat.

4. My only concern is that................
Toomey would bring out some of the die-hard fundies on election night who would normally stay home, oh, and they'll vote for Bush while they're at it.

2. It will be very interesting to see
I wonder if Toomey has any other TV interviews scheduled. If the hosts follow their attack instructions as well as Tweety did last week and if any one is paying attention, it could be both interesting and fun.

On another level, with * and Sanatorium investing so much time and political capital in Specter, what do they do if he loses? * practically paralyzed Pittsburgh last night at rush hour going to a Specter event. I didn't see if Little Ricky was there, too. It's almost worth rooting for Toomey just to see this, too. How will Karl spin that?

3. I'm expecting some "third party" will make things hard to figure
You know, one of the favorite tactics of the hard core fundies is late night "Candidate so-and-so kills babies and then has homo-sexural sex with his black son" mystery phone calls.

They are usually made too late in the election to be tracked in any polling.

And the hardcore fundies don't like Specter on abortion.
