Jordanian Prince warns of World War III starting in Middle East.
A little dated (March 26, 04) but interesting article on Jordanian Prince Hassan warning of the current conflicts in the Middle East could spread to neighboring countries thus creating a larger more deadlier and destructive conflict.

1. Thanks for posting this.
I think this is exactly what $hrub wants. At some point he plans on dropping nukes so that he fulfills the "world on fire" bit in Revelations, and therefore Christ will return. :eyes:

3. I think Tony Blair and Ariel Sharon wants armegeddon too!
They are all deeply religious and I fear their convictions are that they want to bring the Second Coming.

4. You mean King Abdullah.
Prince Hassan is King Abdullah's uncle. Brother of the late King Hussein.

5. He is prolly right IMO
everyone has a right to defend themself--so the conventional wisdom goes, lately, according to everyone in the Bush administration and also in the Kerry campaign.

And if everyone has that right, than it seems to me that everyone in that area has the right to develop whatever weapons and whatever military is currently availabel to them and that includes nukes.

'and then after they all develop nukes, they will all be mooted.

and then what?

NO attempts at rectifyhing anything, but all attemts at defending the Israeli right to "defend itself" must also apply to anyh other in the region.

All states and nations have the right to "defend themself"

even if the only weapon they have is a stone to throw.
