black box voting=voting on electronic machines which don't print paper ballots.

Al Franken tomorrow will talk to Congressman Rush Holt, author of "The Voter Confidence Act" which will end black box voting in time for the November 2004 election, if it's passed.

In the Senate "The Voter Confidence Act" is bill number S.1980.

Phone your Senators and ask them to cosponsor the Voter Confidence Act.

Dial 1-800-839-5276 (Capitol Hill Switchboard), ask to be transferred to the office of one of your Senators, and leave a message requesting that the Senator cosponsor the bill.

Hello, I'd like to leave a message for the Senator to cosponsor the Voter Confidence Act, S.1980, to protect the accuracy of elections.

Franken's page on the Air America website says:
"Rep. Rush Holt of Ohio will join us to talk about Diebold voting machines."

Um ... Holt is from NJ, Diebold is from Ohio. :P
