I just finished Roger & Me
Good. Lord.

I mean...what can I say.

WHAT THE F*CK CAN I SAY.

I hate to admit it...but a part of me liked NAFTA.

I know, I know...I thought that maybe it would help a global economy and help global cooperation, but * has shot the wad on that.

And then this MASTERPIECE.

Hey...any Flint DUers...HOW? I MEAN HOW IN THE...HYATT REGENCY? AUTOWORLD? THE STREET MARKET? THE JAIL?

FOR THE LOVE OF ANYTHING THAT IS HOLY, CAN ANYONE IN THAT COUNTY MANAGE ONE SINGLE DOLLAR!?!?!?!?!?!?

Please tell me that Bob Ewbanks had to pay. Tell me that toruism shill had to pay. Tell me those Money magazine and actual money burners had to pay.

I hope they all did...

2. Grew up near Flint
Autoworld was really, really cool. I remember going there when I was a kid. Actually, it was still around, with everything in it until the mid 90s. I was fortunate enough to be able to go in there in 94 or 95 and go on the rides and see the exhibits one last time.

The hotel downtown was sold, and remained open until a few years ago. If I recall, some looney church bought it, ripped out every television, closed the restaurant and now they have retreats there, or they program people there or something.

3. How?
The film said that Autoworld was closed within 6 months of opening...is this another case of Moore twisting words ?

And I saw the woman with the rabbits in the film. I had the VHS copy from my library...the DVD is being released the SAME DAY as BFC...2 weeks from today.

I CANT WAIT!!!!

4. I have no idea
I really don't know how Autoworld worked. It *did* close though. But I kid you not, I was in there in the mid-90s. I think a foundation and the city paid to keep it maintained, yet shuttered.
