Protest the War: Wear Black

It's time those of us who want things to stop to wear an outward sign of this protest. I am committed to wearing black till we kick this regime out of the white house. Additionally, wear a white rose to protest Bush fascism. For those of you who don't know what the white rose stands for see:

Ladies, it's spring so wear a white rose in your hair or pinned on your hat or shirt. Men, it won't hurt to wear one too--in a button hole, behind your ear, wherever. That way we'll recognize others who think the world has had enough of Bush. I hope to see a whole lot of white roses around.

2. don't know if I can wear black all summer in the south

but I have worn my gold peace sign on a chain around my neck
every single day since March 20, 2003
It took me all day to find one when I went searching
but I did,
bought it from a Middle Eastern couple
who owned a kiosk in the locel mall (ironic, huh?)

March 20 is my birthday
and I was so sickened by the invasion on that day
that my search was my present to myself

I also have an 'UpYours Bush t-shirt,
sporting Rosie the Riveter (sp?)
but obviously can't prance around in that...all the time
