Daily Show: Hunt For Saddam
Edited on Tue Aug-05-03 10:09 PM by Cush
Actaully, the call it "In Search Of Saddam" (with the In Search Of theme music)

Colbert in Tikri: We are close, the "Missed by 24 hours" has been updated to 6 hours, and pretty soon we will catch him, and pass him...which means he will be hunting us"

We now have a 6th photo showing what Saddam may look like....up comes a pic of Geraldo: "He is armed and ridiculous"

8. you only get to hear the truth on a fake news show...
yeah, Dean looked goofy when they froze on that smile shot.

but more importantly, Stewart nailed the dems who are trying to say, as Lieberman did, that their appeasement party approach does anything for anyone except those who are Bush supporters.

and, yes, that includes so many who still refuse to stand up to Bush on far too many issues...especially and including Lieberman's soul brother, Evan Bayh.

I've turned on the dem debate on cspan now. I want to see LIeberman get bitch smacked by the crowd.

9. Jon on Dean
Don't expect Jon to cozy up to any of the candidates. Humor is in the attack. I'm thankful of the things Jon could have joked about but didn't. Overall, Dean just came off as a frontrunner who is out in front because people believe he is a straight forward guy, but he is just a politician like all of them. And they were quick to point out, he can't be any worse than Gore Lieberman.

12. It's Okay
The Iraq bit is hilarious, John Popper is on and he is always entertaining, and if you look at the Dean piece as exposing Dean to a group who may not have really heard of him yet, it is pretty positive. They just quip about his smile and his 'in your face stances' on gay marriage and marijuana (that he hasn't considered gay marriage beyond basic civil rights stuff and he feels marijuana should be test by the FDA - real radical stuff).
