CNn said Bush has spent over $100MM in ads so far!
I found it amusing that their question was, "has he spent too much too soon?"

I hope so!!!!!!!!!!

I've heard the comments that HOward Dean peaked too soon and that' why he lost the Primary. Well, if that' the case, I really hope Bush has spent TOO MUCH TOO SOON and he'll just dig the hole too deep to climb out!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even with all his money, at some point some supporters will abandon ship!

2. Wow! Isn't that like 1/2 of his spending money already???
I haven't even seen many of his ads aired around here. Of course....I'm in the "secure" state of Indiana!!

5. I thought it was secure here in Ga. too, but I've seen a LOT!
Every time I turn around there's another "Kerry 50 cent tax ad" or "360 time increased taxes".

At least they pulled the one with the 911 reference.

I thougt that was a great coup for the Dems to force them to pull the ad!

All this $$ down the drain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't be happier!!

7. If he waz that good of a Prez, he wouldn't have to spend 68 cents.
per vote. As it is ... his bill will approach $3.29 per vote. Its buying your way in man.

By the looks of things, all the money in the world will not change that Man.... he is a Dufus and his dufus decisions have wrecked too many families on both side and cost us too many lost opportunities, the budget overboard as it is. Monies well spent at all but not working.

8. That fits with yesterday's thread
that he was cutting back on ads in Swing States. He could be runing into money problems.

One he goes to the convention, he then can get more money from people that max out in the primaries(which he did not have)... But with the LATE convention date... Not a lot of time to campaign and raise money.

9. That's funny: tHEIR aDS aRE sHIT!
My morning and evening news are bracketed with AFL-CIO ads, John Kerry ads, and these phenomenally irritating bush-league ads that any hearing person just mutes.

Pugs setting out for maximum annoyance. They'll inoculate the public to receptivity.

The pathetic thing is the ads are so bad and so irrelevant to what has been going on the last 3 weeks...

11. Maybe he spent all that money on the card they sent me?
I hope.... well at least wish it.

I got mail from the Bush Cheney '04 --- Marc Racicot Chairman with AUTOGRAPHED picture of gw* and his numbnut wife. I don't remember when or where they got my name and address. I must had given it to them on the internet at one of their sites. Maybe they will send me more if I give them other names. They even included a SASE to send them something in return.

19. It will take ALOT of ads
to make up for that "Press Conference" the other night. The man is a complete embarrassment, and his only hope come November will be the sympathy vote.
