Randi Rhodes Rips Up Own Advertiser...Ouch!

Randi Rhodes just parodied the Onstar commercials that dominate Air America. Probably not the smartest move unless Onstar no longer advertises on the network. I haven't heard one of their annoying commercials in awhile.

Caller: Onstar, I locked my kid in my car!
Randi: You're ok. Call the police and turn yourself in. Now with Onstar it's ok to leave your kids in the car in 105 degree heat. Go inside have a few drinks and then call Onstar when you realize you locked your kid in the car!

Those commercials are terrible. No one wants to hear about real accounts of the world's most moronic people. I just can't believe Randi would rip on them. Funny nonetheless.

From her criticism, it sounds like she dislikes it because people can use it as a crutch for their stupidity.

But, I've also heard the gov't can use Onstar (which is always on) to monitor in-car conversations.
