Press Conf - and Mclellan says PDB analyst met with commission Monday
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4723799/

"Bush is to open his Tuesday news conference — the 12th of his presidency — with a statement on Iraq, White House communications director Dan Bartlett said Monday. He said the president was prepared to address questions about a memo, titled “Bin Laden Determined To Strike in U.S.,” that he received on Aug. 6, 2001, as part of the President’s Daily Brief.

“After a tough week, there are important questions that are on the minds of the American people,” Bartlett said. The news conference was scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m. EDT.

White House press secretary Scott McClellan said that the CIA analyst who wrote the memo met Monday night with members of the commission investigating the Sept. 11 attacks."

1. As Chris Bury remarked at the close of Nightline last night
this has been much more than a "tough week" as the Bushies try to classify it.

It's a disaster!

2. Did they pay off the CIA analyst?

I bet he'll have a mansion in Bermuda if they can get him to say that he was wacked when he wrote the memo.
