Bush* 9/13/01: "most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden."
Edited on Tue Apr-13-04 02:34 PM by jackstraw45
Bush didn't care about Bin Laden before he cared about Bin Laden before he didn't care about Bin Laden

"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until we find him."
- Bush, 9/13/01

"I don't know where he (bin Laden) is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
- Bush, 3/13/02

This is PRIME commercial material...

1. I know....
Makes me crazy when I try to tell people about that and they say "yeah, but the evidence/motives/blah-ditty-blah changed, and so he changed his mind..." Gah! MoveOn should use that, for sure.

3. It is not bogus. I heard it in context. More than once.
Edited on Tue Apr-13-04 02:35 PM by robbedvoter
he said once: "I have no news from him - he doesn't write me" or something of the sort.

if it's important to verify, go to his speeches whitehouse.org- you have the date - it should be easy. Simply bringing rumors - "it could be bogus" doesn't cut it here.

5. I don't mean to be rude, but you've got it backwards. Those using
the quotes need to cite the source. I've googled the second quote and only get second hand (non-sourced) accounts.

6. You're right. It's a bogus left-wing pile of crap.....

You "googled" it?

And, again, I don't know where he is. I -- I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him.

And here's your "bogus" link......

9. Do you have a reading comprehension problem???
Edited on Tue Apr-13-04 04:47 PM by 9215
I've been polite here but you need to get your head out of your ass pal before you start calling me crazy.
I said that I heard it COULD BE bogus not that it WAS bogus. Do you understand the difference between these statements?

The quote with "(bin Laden)" is not sourced. Plus I am not the one responsible for proving a negative as I said before your stupid misinterpretation.

 is you looking in the mirror.

Now let's see if we have source for the 9/13 quote.
