Why Bush will Lose the election: He has not shown evidence he
thinks for his People.

If we look at our Democrats, our Naderites, our Progressives, Liberals, etc we pretty much all have one thing in common, we think and focus for All of America. We want a Better America.

Bush, on the other hand, clearly shows opposite. He is a super example of a Prez Gone Wild. The Negative results of his decisions have caught up with him and the people out there, not all, but enough, are pissed beyond tears. Many have lost their life savings(Enron, etc) and too many had their loved ones maimed or killed in what turns out to be a wag the dog war.

The Rank and File Pubs don't know it but we are on their side. We too want a better safer America.... now, ever slowly, they are seeing it with their own eyes. Bush is the Humpty Dumpty of Old.
His answers and decisions have proven disastrous. The People are finding out the Dem Party, while not perfect, has the better ODDs for a better Future/Nation/World.

1. I disagree
He HAS thought for his people. We're just not his people. His people are wealthy corporate types and theocrats.

11. You are correct, indeed he does think for HIS People
who are a narrow part of the spectrum. I was refering to all ALL of the people.

If he was Moses, we would still be in the desert.

2. Go to rural Tennessee.
Ask them about Bush and you'll get one stock response:

"He's a man of God."

That's all that a LOT of Americans care about. That he pursues paths and legislation contrary, even harmful, to most Americans, is just evidence to them that Bush is following God's orders, and that he doesn't listen to "focus groups," which they also see as a form of "integrity."

I'm not making this up. I spent most of Bush's term in Nashville, and I'm guessing most of the rural population of this country feels the same way. Sad sad sad.

And ask them if Bush makes them feel safer, and for some oblique reason, they'll say "yes." They are all in favor of the "end times," let's remember. They don't have to worry about dying, because GAWD has provided them with real estate in Hebbin should anything catastrophic occur.

Seriously.

10. I know, it s so depressing that good folks go for the Fantasy Solution as
opposed to Reality and Sanity.

Someday soon, enough will see the real light and learn of the poor odds this approach leads to.

12. I agree. I have to look no further than my dear Mom to see this in action
That is why I am trying to get her to focus and understand how his actions diverge from the principles taught in the Bible.

It's a tough row to hoe, I'll grant you, but these are the things that some Christians understand. I'm actually making some progress.

14. Wish you well in your attempt
Happiness depends on our efforts.

Vote Happy, we get Happy.

Vote War, selfishness, greed, we get those too.

3. Kerry
I am not at all sure Bush is toast. It seems to me there is a very good
chance he will be re-selected.

Most folks do not follow the news closely. Those of us who do know well
that the Bush Administration lied us into the first pre-emptive war
in American history and that our economy is in grave peril.

There is still a lot of work to do.

what he truely is, we have a good chance.

4. He's Made Too Many Enemies
and not given enough people a reason to vote for him.

As far as the "man of God" image, that's what Kerry's opposition research people should concentrate on. Forget political questions. Even something as simple as GWB swearing like a sailor and vowing political revenge would put him in a new lightto his religious supporters. The drunk driving revelation probably cost him the first election -- another November surprise could assure a Kerry victory this time.

7. Yes, he has given us no reason he is DESERVING of a second term.
The wreckage of his stewardship is everywhere.

He cannot be trusted to make the crucial decisions.

Look it, he blew the Aug 6 DPB warning by not telling us small guys of the "Incoming" danger of OBL attacks. We deserved that warning.

5. as long as BushCo owns the voting machines . . .
there's very little chance of them losing this election . . . they can make the results say whatever they want in key districts in key states, and no on will be the wiser . . . they've done it before and, not having been caught, they'll most certainly do it again . . .

it's not who votes that counts . . . it's who counts the votes . . .

6. This is why the votes cast must be a Landslide for Kerry to negate
hanky panky with the counting.

We should demand a FAIR election. Whether we get it or not depends on the InPut by us small folks.

13. If this Administration was THAT GOOD, they wouldn't HAVE to
steal anything, wouldn't have to spend hundreds of Million$. That they have to resort to name calling, distractions, deception, etc gives pause to America(well, it SHOULD) that all is not well in the Oval Office.

"The Plain Spoken President" is guessing at major decisions.... something we can ill afford in these tenuous times. We can, and should, do Better. Bush is Bush League and he is no FIRST STRINGER by any means.
