Holy crap, the man is scared shitless, he wanted to get back on and fly away!

All black, hands in pockets, no waves, walking haltingly towards the White House.

I've never seen the man walk this slowly ever, he's probably knocking back a few Scotches as we speak :eyes:

3. He knows he's in big trouble.
He knows what he has done and that the truth is coming out and that he faces life in prison for his treason, if not capital punishment.

Prosecute the criminals to the fullest extent of the law.

7. He's pissed because he "has" to do this
Poll numbers are down, and even folks in his own party are telling him to get out there and do and say something. He hates to work, and he especially hates being put on the spot. It's not in his spoiled, frat boy framework.

19. And from comments I've read from his parents...
my guess is that he thinks the only reason he "has to do this" is because the press is unfair to him. We've witnessed Bush's contempt for the press again and again, and more often recently. I think the Bushes consider the press peons (the press, in fact, seems to consider THEMSELVES peons), below them financially and socially. How dare they criticize a Bush, or even report anything in less than glowing terms? Some among the press may even be among the "effete" intellectuals so hated by the family. Who do they think they are? This family has no concept, I am certain, of the responsibility of the press in our system, or of its great importance. If the press would just stay in its place, and only report positive things about Bush and his administration, he wouldn't have to bother his "beautiful mind," as his mother puts it, cramming with Condi to appear as if he has a clue tonight. I despise the arrogance of these people. Not only is George all hat and no cattle, they are all noblesse and no oblige.

11. Poor Barney!
I bet it was Karen Hughes' idea for the dog to be walking with him... to a seldom few it might make him (Bush) more loveable.

18. Barney Rocks!
I find it hard to believe even Hughes' would be that underhanded sir. I do however think they've stumbled on a great tactic. You can read about my theory here.

17. He looked like hell..................
it appears the last few weeks have taken a toll on the drunken Frat boy. He looked hungover, moving very slowly, head down. I'm sure he's hitting the bottle again.
I wonder what type of pharmaceutical they'll have him on tonight for his "press" conference?

my mom had to have it several times

he looked REALLY depressed

exaggerating here, but he looked BERY BERY down

literally

the clip I saw, he was looking down the whole time, walking very slowly, like he didn't want to get to his destination....prepping for his disastrous performance?

and, right, to whomever mentioned poor barney.

he knows more about what's going on than his "master"
