9/11 Commission: Pot, Meet Kettle
You know, it's sort of amazing.

Every witness appearing before the Commission has been asked a few tough questions and has been taken to task by the Commission for what they coulda/shoulda done to stop 9/11.

Yet, that same Commission is the ONLY official game in town that has been charged with getting to the bottom of how 9/11 happened, and they refuse to do everything in THEIR power to get to the bottom of it all. It ranges from allowing bush & cheney to appear together rather than separately, to not putting EVERYONE under oath, to NOT making EVERYONE testify in public, to agreeing to interviewing Condi while letting everyone else off the hook, to allowing the WH to redact their final report, to not asking a whole lot of obvious questions to a gaggle of complicit players.

Where is the Commission pushing? Where is the Commission "shaking the trees?"

1. Too political
This commission should've been formed of all non-political types.

3. I think they should have given a number to each 9/11 family member
and wounded survivor who is/was ready, willing and able to serve on the commission, then pick 10 numbers and viola--there's your commission.

5. They only look at the evidence that can be explained away by the media
What about the Hart-Rudman report? What about Al Gore's study of airline security?

These studies aren't mentioned because the Bushites deep-sixed both of these highly pertinent studies. So, if they don't mention these studies, then they can blame Clinton for 9/11.

After all, these commissioners were all appointed by Bush, who was appointed by Scalia and the four other Repubs on the Supreme Court.

4. Kean is a Bush/BinL-pal, and the rest of the gang...
is probably not above all suspicions regarding objectivity.
Here is a very nice Asia Times article, it discusses this, among other questions. Please read part 2 too!
