I have had to argue with some very dishonest people on this board that DC is and always has been protected not only by the Aircraft but AA systems.

There is no logical reason DC was not protected.

12. So where are those who claimed DC was defenseless?
Or those who said we were crazy for saying DC was defended by AA?

3. I remember visiting DC years and years ago.
and being told that no airplanes were allowed to fly over many areas and that at least at the whitehouse, anti aircraft weapons were available. This was just on basic tours and tourist info.

7. Clinton stayed at a hotel I worked at once
They had soldiers on the roof (14 floors) with anti-aircraft something or others. We were by the airport, and every time a plane flew over, you could see the roof guys watching it.

Yeah, they protect the president.

surrounded by LOTS of military bases....LOTS....Ft. Belvoir, Ft. McNair, Andrews, Pentagoon, Ft. Meyers, Norfolk....and that's just what I can remember off the top of my head....DC is THE MOST PROTECTED area in OUR entire Nation....

14. I have always wanted to know why
AFTER the attacks and all,
CIVILIANS had to go to the Pentagon to help bail the military out.

Apparently, all the mil boys who do mil firefighting or mil medicare or mil food-service or mil just-about-anything-you-can-name were out sick that day and for the next few weeks.

As far as I can see, the only military crew that showed up were the mil-barbers.

See what I mean?

5. I thought so from the beginning
Here we have Andrews Air Force Base virtually right across the river from the Pentagon 5 - 7 miles away and couldn't protect us?

Wouldn't protect us is more like it.

6. yes, the only questions we need Freeh to answer go like this:
Edited on Tue Apr-13-04 09:34 AM by librechik
who told the agents to step down from investigating Saudis and the financing of Terror Groups?

Who told the state dept in Yemen to hand out student visas as freely as grocery coupons?

Who gave the order to leave the Bin Laden's alone? Who ordered them to be evacuated by air when no one else was allowed to fly?

Whop gave the stand down order to jets that would have routinely scrambled to escort airplanes with transponders turned off?

All thise actions would have taken some proactive move on the part of someone to not do a normal routine. Who did those things? They are much more important than incompetence or interagency miscommunication, or an inbred culture. Some person had to DO something. Who was it?

9. and why, when there was an hour between the first wtc and the pentagon
did DC not have any protection?

I still can't believe that the pentagon has just sat there all those years like a sitting duck. No AA defense??? Just the rumors of having protection were thought to be enough?

11. Sad that those are not getting asked.
It is funny that the "debunkers" always say "where's the eveidence". We see the eveidence all around us. What a good cop does is follow up on circumstantial eveidence that implicates a suspect. In this case we are not allowed to follow up on any of the relivant information.

It seems clear why this is and it is not because the commision or government at large wants us to know the truth or "prevent" any more attacks.

8. Who heard the story of the Mall flyovers a couple weeks ago?
Fighter jets flew over the Mall, very low, freaking people out. The Air Force said it was just part of a recruiting exercise. When asked why no one alerted the general public, the official statement was:

"We have planes in the air all the time over DC. It was no big deal."

ALL THE TIME? Apparently not.

10. MIHOP
STANDING DOWN NORAD required active participation at the highest levels of the administration. This is not just inaction, this is preplanned, active participation in facilitating the black op against America.

15. Those "Stand Down" orders were given by Cheney.....
In fact, the more I listen to what went on that day, the more I see that Cheney was pulling strings for his Energy Task Force and Halliburton buddies all the way through the 9/11 horror.

But Cheney and Asskrotch are both in fairly poor health. They likely won't be around long enough to take the perp walks for all of this. They obviously acted in concert, with shrub's permission (whether it was required or not), or should I say "blessings".

They KNEW. They ACTED to let it happen.
