• What: Caucuses are democracy at its most personal - neighborhood meetings in which voters debate the merits of various candidates, elect delegates to their party's county assembly and propose planks for the party platform.
• Who's eligible: Colorado Democrats and Republicans who have been registered to vote for 60 days and have lived at their present address for the past month.
• Where: Most are held at community centers such as churches and schools, and several precincts usually share a location.
• When: All the caucuses begin at 7 p.m.
• Where's my precinct? To find your precinct, call the Denver Election Commission at 720-913-VOTE (8683), or call your county party headquarters or check its Web site. For state party organizations, Democrats can be reached at 303-623-4762 or www.coloradodems.org; Republicans, 303-758-3333 or www.cologop.org.
