Fake photographs - Photoshop editted images
This is a photo of an American in Iraq with two kids

This is a photo which was I guess editted with Photoshop

Actually, the latter one has been showing up on web sites in the Middle East from what I understand, they think it is for real. Maybe they even think the claims are real.

This reminds me of the fake Kerry/Fonda doctored image. Some of these are done very well - it's hard to know when you're looking at a real photograph or not.

1. You're going to have to link
to the page they are on. Not to the image itself.

5. Thanks SoCal
It's good to know I was right to think better of our troops than some were willing to.

6. Sorry I think both are Photoshopped
I do not believe either one is the real one. That poster does not ring true for either one of those.

7. It's fake, no matter what.
I mean really, are we supposed to believe that this Iraqi kid wrote that sign? More like it was handed to him by an "information" officer - assuming it's a real photo.

But then again, maybe Iraqi school kids ARE more literate in English (including abreviations of military ranks) than your average freeper "moran".
